As we approach Thanksgiving and reflect on things to be thankful for, SFMTA employees rise high on that list. Seventy-five years ago, Muni launched the “Operator of the Month” Award to honor excellent drivers. This recognition continues today as one way of saying “Thank You” to those who keep our city moving. A long tradition Recognizing employee excellence predates the Operator of the Month award.
