Celebrating the completion of safety upgrades on 6th Street. Working closely with city and community partners, we recently completed critical safety improvements on 6th Street. This busy downtown corridor had among the highest concentrations of severe and fatal pedestrian collisions in San Francisco. On Friday, Sept. 26, we joined Mayor Daniel Lurie, Supervisor Matt Dorsey and our partners at Public Works and local organizations to mark the start of a new chapter for the neighborhood.
